As a medieval knight, you serve as a mercenary to your king. Your exceptional battle skills and leadership attract the king's attention, presenting you with an extraordinary opportunity to embark on a crusader ship and establish a settlement on a new island.
In this game, you are responsible for both the military and economic aspects of the settlement. Your objective is to construct and develop the crusader settlement, generate profits through trade and farming, and reinvest the income into building a formidable army and bolstering your defenses. Through the utilization of strong walls armed with archers and ballistas, you can defend against incessant enemy attacks. Training your army, upgrading equipment, and researching new unit types are essential steps in expanding your empire and safeguarding your settlement.
Once your economy thrives and your crusader army grows in strength, it's time to seize the initiative. You can launch offensive campaigns, conquer enemy outposts, break down their walls, and transform them into new sources of income for your flourishing colony and warrior empire.
Welcome to Medieval: Defense & Conquest! Your initial task is to develop your small village located on the island's coast. Starting with a simple wooden fence and modest fortifications, you must fortify your defenses and train your crusader soldiers to combat endless waves of enemies.
To withstand recurrent enemy assaults, consider these strategies:
- Train your soldiers from humble peasants to seasoned warriors
- Expand your stronghold's walls and fortifications
- Deploy skilled archers and fearsome ballistas on your walls
- Visit the blacksmith to acquire superior swords and armor
- Craft more powerful bows and sharper arrows
- Engage in intense clashes against hordes of formidable adversaries
- Overcome epic bosses attempting to destroy your village
As your might grows, you will gain the opportunity to take the offensive, conquering nearby outposts. Seize control over them, develop their economy, and passively earn income even when offline!
Alongside trading ships, skilled merchants, farmers, and the spoils from vanquished foes, you can further fortify your defenses, expand your growing network of profitable outposts, cultivate valuable crops, and unite the entire island under your just rule.
